ABILENE ANGEL WINGS
This is another 2012 Intro. I use it as  a pod parent. Very prolific.

ABILENE BE PROUD
One of my 2012 intros. It has been a very good pollen parent for double edges.

If any of you are VW types I might need to pick your brain. Couldn't get the speedometer to work the cable checked out  fine so I hook the head to my electric drill and ran it at about 40 miles an hour, now it works fine. It has new bumpers also and lights.

This is my 1971 VW that I am restoring. Some wanted to see it. I am working out some of the electrical problems. I suppose any vehicle 42 years old has problems. Thankfully I taught electronics so I can work all that out. The person I got it from had put new fenders on it .

2012-02
Second seedling to bloom this year. Came from (ABILENE THANKS LINDA X ABILENE TOMS MAGIC). It bloomed in April, 9 months old.  I now have 6 fans of it, got 140 seeds when it was less than1 2 months old, this is what I you would expect from a 2 year old clump.. Both parents are two of my best. It will be registered. Don't want a Daylily around here with a Dangling Disfunction Participle, they tend to turn out more DDP's. I want strong seedlings, that's all I keep.   I learned a long time ago that two strong parents will just about always turn out strong children.

Newly planted blue eyed Daylilies from this year's crop of seedlings. I hope to have at least 250 seedlings from my blue crosses. These are one year old plants and most will set seeds. Many blue eyed seedlings follow this picture.

JT-2012197
( ABILENE DR. TERESA BURTON X TRIBUTE TO LINDA)
This thing is about to ruffle itself today. Another TRIBUTE TO LINDA seedling.

JT-2012326

Only one today, season about over, I'm ready for it to be over. This flower is more purple than red. Purple is hard to photograph in true color. (Purple seedling X TRIBUTE TO LINDA)

JT-2012170
JT-2012176

Both these seedlings came from the same cross (JT-8068 X ABILENE TOM'S MAGIC). I like seedlings with contrasting colors.

JT-2012159
JT-2012166

Two more double edges. I have plenty more to pick from but it has rained the last 10 days.

JT-2012149

This is out of my ABILENE FLAMING GLORY
JT-2012157

This is out of my ABILENE TOM'S MAGIC. Been raining for a week. I think we must have gotten about 8 feet of rain.

JT-2012131
JT-2012136

It makes me wonder what will we  be blooming 10 years from now. All these seedlings on this blog bloomed this year.
JT-2012140
JT-2012144

I seem to never get tired of double edge seedlings.  These two are no kin. Even though both bloomed first time on the same day. I saw my first double edge seedling 10 years ago. Now I bloom hundreds.

JT-2012101
JT-2012103
Here is a couple from this year. As you can see I like double and triple edges and green. The green comes from an Agin seedling. The double edge comes from ABILENE TOM'S MAGIC. This year I did about 500 double edge seedlings.

JT-2012-302 (shade)
JT-2012-302 ( no shade)

Pictures made seconds apart. Got this one today out of my blue breeding. They actually look like this, the camera did a pretty good job.

JT-8143 (2008)
First bloom

JT-8143 (2012)

This is a good example of how a seedling will develop over time. They usually get more intense in color, larger and more substance.  I have experenced this quite a bit.

ABILENE SUNRISE (2012)
Still in a clump, not lined out yet.
At least 30 seed pods on (ABILENE SUNRISE X FORRESTLAKE RAGAMUFFIN). A. SUNRISE sets a seed pod probably 75 % of the time or better.  There should be a lot of horns in this cross.  As people who know me know I do long crossed. I should have at least 150 seeds to plant in July.
JT-2012210

Out of 300 seedlings I have selected so far, this is the only two out of 20 seedlings of THIS cross that looks like what I had in mind.
JT-2012297

This is a good example of two seedlings from the same cross. (ABILENE DR. TERESA BURTON X HERE LIES BUTCH).

ABILENE DR. TERESA BURTON

Thanks Bill Maryott for the picture, I must have a dozen pictures on this computer of HLB (Agin) , but the computer keeps lying about their location. I believe HLB may produce the best pollen, in my mind, for double and triple edges.
